Andre Howell

Director | Head of Sports Performance & Athletic Development

Our Lead Exercise Sport Scientist Andre Howell applied his trade as a Physical Training Instructor (PTI) mentoring thousands of Police recruits for one of Australia’s leading law enforcement organisations (WA Police Force). 

With 17.5 years experience working in the field of law enforcement, he prides himself on prescribing effective training solutions for specialist tactical populations inclusive of Police Recruits and in-service officers, State Emergency Services personnel (firefighters, search and rescue), Custodial Service officers (Prison Officers) and Border Force recruits and operatives.

Andre holds a Bachelor of Science (Exercise & Sport Science) and accreditations with Australia’s leading exercis sports science and strength & conditioning bodies. He has curated his practical experience over the past 12 years operating at various levels of sport most recently as a strength and conditioning coach with the WAFL’s premier football club Subiaco Lions, NBL1, NPL, Perth Glory’s ‘Future Glory’ and with independent footballers performing their trade internationally whilst based in Perth.

The vision of High Performance Lab is building a professional establishment that provides an unmatched training experience that supports the journey of clients to reach their full potential by any means possible and I have done this. All assessments have a meticulous and detailed approach.

Andre is big on education and has a common-sense approach to high performance and educating others on how train correctly. His path is committed to providing education to all clients through the application of the latest evidence based training practices and methodology in the lab to achieve success.
